Privacy notice

This page explains what personal information I may receive through this website and how I use it.

Who is responsible

The person responsible for this website and its personal-data handling is Milton. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

Information I receive

If you email me, I may receive your email address, name, message, project details, and any other information you choose to include. This website does not have accounts, user profiles, a contact form, or a payment system.

The site stores your theme preference locally in your browser. This preference is not sent to me and is not used for tracking. I do not currently use analytics, advertising trackers, or non-essential cookies.

Why I use this information

I use messages sent to me to reply to you, discuss potential work, prepare or manage a project relationship, and keep the website and communications secure. I do not sell personal information or use hiring inquiries for advertising.

Legal basis

For a message about possible work, the usual legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Other processing may be based on a legitimate interest, such as keeping correspondence secure, or on a legal obligation where one applies.

Who may receive it

Email messages are handled through my email provider, Google, and may be stored in the email account used to manage this website. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect rights, or prevent abuse. I do not share hiring inquiries with advertisers.

How long I keep it

I keep correspondence only for as long as it is useful for the inquiry, project relationship, accounting, or legal purposes. Where there is no ongoing relationship or legal reason to keep it, I aim to delete it within 12 months after the last meaningful contact.

Your rights

Subject to the limits in the GDPR, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. To make a request, email [email protected].

You may also complain to Portugal’s data-protection authority, CNPD.

Changes

I may update this notice when the website or the way I handle information changes. The current version will always be available on this page.
